Mother's Day Orders

Ordering deadlines

Please order early to avoid shipping delays. On all of our curated gift box and build your own gift box pages, you can select to delay your shipment or local delivery so that it’s delivered close to Mother’s Day. This is a great option if you’d like to place your order early. If you choose this option, I will send your order out so that it arrives a few days early, just in case there are delays. Otherwise, cut-off dates for Mother’s Day orders are:

Local Deliveries (Halifax, Dartmouth, Cole Harbour, Bedford, Timberlea areas): Friday, May 7th

NS, PEI, NB: May 2nd

NFLD, ON & QC: April 27th

Rest of Canada & US: April 25th

These cut-off dates are for standard shipping. If you need to order after these dates, your order might still arrive in time, but for a better chance you may want to choose express shipping on checkout.

Shipping and delivery

How much is shipping?

All orders in Canada above $85 (before tax) ship FREE! 

Please double check the shipping address before placing an order to make sure your order arrives on time and on budget. Customers will be billed for any extra fees related to an incorrect shipping address, and nobody wants that!

Ordering under $85? Shipping is:

$10 for NS, NB, PEI, and NL

$12 for ON & QC

$15 for the rest of Canada. Shipping costs to the United States vary based on location and are shown on checkout.

Please keep an eye on your tracking number, and try to ensure someone will be home to accept the shipment. Although we haven't had any issues so far, we won't be responsible for stolen deliveries. 

Local orders in Halifax and Dartmouth over $50 get free delivery. 

How does local delivery in Halifax work?

If you live in Halifax or Dartmouth (and surrounding areas), we provide contactless delivery free of charge for orders over $50. If you're in our delivery zone, the delivery option will automatically come up on the checkout page if your order is over $50. To make sure this option shows up when you're checking out, choose the address that comes up automatically (in the list of suggestions) when you're entering your address.

Please note that local delivery isn't compatible with Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Amazon Pay. If you need to pay with one of these options, then please contact hello@cheerfetti.ca to have your shipping fee refunded.

Deliveries take place every Saturday and/or Sunday for orders placed by 7am that Saturday or Sunday.

If you would like your gift delivered on a specific date (e.g., for a birthday), leave a note on the cart page and we'll do our best to make it happen! Please leave the cell phone number for the recipient so we can let them know when their package of cheer is on the way :)

Where do you ship to?

We ship to Canada and the United States. Please note that US customers are responsible for any duties and customs fees.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders are shipped on weekdays within 48 hours of being placed. Shipping times vary based on location and pandemic-related restrictions. On the checkout screen you'll get an estimated shipping timeframe, and once your order is shipped you'll get a tracking number sent to you.

Can I ship multiple gifts to multiple recipients in the same order?

At this time, we can only send gifts to one shipping address per order.

Can I add extra items into a curated gift box?

You sure can!

Can I build my own gift box?

Absolutely, and we carry a wide selection of items so you can customize your gift box to you liking. Simply start off with the all-inclusive gift box and add your selections to the cart, and we'll take care of the rest.

Do I have to get a gift box?

If you're sending a gift directly to the recipient, we strongly suggest getting a gift box to make their gift experience extra special. If you're buying some goodies for yourself and don't mind getting them in a plain ol' shipping box, feel free to skip the gift box!

Can I leave a note on a greeting card?

Yes! Just include your note in the message section for the greeting card you decide to go with.
