Please double check the shipping address before placing an order to make sure your order arrives on time and on budget. Customers will be billed for any extra fees related to an incorrect shipping address, and nobody wants that!

Shipping costs to the United States vary based on location and are shown on checkout. Please note customers in the United States are responsible for duties and taxes. Please keep an eye on your tracking number, and try to ensure someone will be home to accept the shipment. Although we haven't had any issues so far, we won't be responsible for stolen deliveries.
Local orders in Halifax and Dartmouth over $99 get free delivery. Delivery for orders under $99 is between $10 and $14 depending on the area. See below for more information on our local delivery zone.

Shipping: Orders are shipped via courier or Canada Post. Please allow 1-2 business days to process your order before it's shipped.
Local Delivery: available in Halifax & Dartmouth and some surrounding areas only (see below for details). Orders are usually delivered by a local courier (Haligone) and can be fulfilled more quickly. Please choose a delivery date on the cart page if your order is within our local delivery area.
If you're placing an order in our local delivery zone (i.e., in Halifax & Dartmouth), we will always call or text the recipient if they live in a condo or apartment building to ensure they will be around for the delivery.
If the recipient lives in a house, we may contact the recipient ahead of time at our discretion based on the delivery location, occasion, and weather forecast. If the delivery is to an office location, we generally won't contact the recipient ahead of time.

We provide delivery free of charge on Mondays to Fridays (and occasionally Saturdays on request or if available on the calendar on the cart page) for orders over $99 in the following areas: Halifax peninsula, Bedford, Lower & Middle Sackville, Clayton Park, Armdale, Beaver Bank, Hammonds Plains, Dartmouth, Eastern Passage, Cole Harbour, Fall River, Waverley, Porter's Lake, and Lawrencetown.
Local delivery postal codes include: B2X, B2W, B2Y, B3A, B3G, B2V, B0J 3A0, B2R, B3H, B3J, B3L, B3K, B3B, B4B, B3M, B4C, B3R, B4E, B4G, B3S, B3N, B4A, B3E, B2Z, B2T (Fall River only).

If the delivery address is in our delivery zone, the Local Delivery option will show up on the shipping page. If you don't see this option; the address likely isn't in our local delivery zone and your order will instead be shipped (and will take an extra day to two to arrive as a result).
Please note that local delivery isn't compatible with Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Amazon Pay. If you need to pay with one of these options, then please contact email@example.com to have your shipping fee refunded.
The delivery date applies to orders within our local delivery zone only. If your order is being shipped and you'd like to delay shipping to arrive in time for a certain date, please leave a note on checkout.

Scroll down to where it says "shipping rates calculator". Enter Canada, Nova Scotia, and the postal code for the delivery address and click "calculate shipping rates".

We love surprises, but we love to make sure your gift makes its way into the hands of the lucky recipient even more. We ask for the phone number of the gift recipient to ensure the gift can be delivered when they're home, mainly if they live in an apartment/condo building or on a busy street. We won't reveal any information about the contents or who it's from, so it'll still be a surprise.
Same day deliveries are available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for orders placed by 11:00am ADT (10:00am EST). Same day deliveries not available on January 26th. Same day delivery is available only in the local delivery zone.
Orders are processed and shipped on business days (weekdays except holidays) within 48 hours of being placed. Please allow an extra business day of processing time for orders placed during peak holiday times (e.g., Christmas, Mother's Day).
Shipping times vary based on location and pandemic-related restrictions. Generally, orders within Nova Scotia (outside our local delivery area), New Brunswick, and PEI take 1-2 business days, and orders to cities in Ontario and Quebec take 2-3 business days. Orders to smaller towns and more remote areas, as well as western Canada and Newfoundland can take 5-10 business days. Please note these shipping time estimates do not include the (up to) 48 hour processing time required.
On the checkout screen you'll get an estimated shipping timeframe, and once your order is shipped you'll get a tracking number sent to you. If you're looking for an estimate before you place an order, reach out over chat or email email@example.com.
At this time, we can only send gifts to one shipping address per order. If you'd like to order multiple gifts going to different addresses in the same order, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to put together your order for you.

If you're sending a gift directly to the recipient, we strongly suggest getting a gift box to make their gift experience extra special. If you're buying some goodies for yourself and don't mind getting them in a plain ol' shipping box, feel free to skip the gift box!
