Please note that standard shipping times aren’t guaranteed by couriers; only express shipping rates are guaranteed. Most couriers waive any guarantees in the event of extreme weather or other forces outside their control. Keep this in mind when ordering mid to late December.
Order cut-off dates for INDIVIDUAL ORDERS (i.e., not large bulk or corporate orders) for arrival before Christmas (with standard shipping or local delivery) are:

LAST DAY FOR ORDER PROCESSING IS DECEMBER 22ND (and orders processed on this date will arrive after Christmas). Orders placed between December 23rd & 27th will be processed on December 30th. Happy holidays!
So glad you asked! Follow these tips for a smooth holiday delivery:
1) Order early
2) Make sure the shipping address is correct. We recommend checking out with shop pay and ensuring you change the delivery address on the checkout page.
If paying with paypal, google pay, or apple pay, address changes can sometimes not be applied properly. Please check your order confirmation email, and if you notice a mistake, reply to that email and we'll get the address updated faster than the speed of Santa's sleigh.
3) Be sure to leave a phone number for the recipient. If there are any issues during the delivery, the driver may attempt to contact the recipient.
4) If the delivery address is to an apartment or condo building, we recommend passing along the tracking number to the recipient. That way, they can keep an eye out for the delivery, or change the delivery date to suit their schedule.
If the gift is being sent to an apartment or condo building within Halifax or Dartmouth via the local delivery courier, we'll reach out to the recipient to ensure a smooth delivery.
5) Give yourself a pat on the back for following these tips!
Only express shipping options are guaranteed, but even guaranteed options exclude circumstances like severe weather or other events outside the courier's control.
If you're shipping to an address in Canada or the US outside our local delivery zone, we'll ship your package so that it arrives on or before your desired delivery date.
If you're sending a gift within our local delivery zone AND choose the LOCAL DELIVERY option on checkout, we'll send your gift out with our same-day local delivery courier. In the rare event there is a delay with your order (e.g., there's a snowstorm), we'll contact you to let you know.
For these reasons, we recommend ordering early and choosing earlier delivery dates when possible, to accommodate for any possible delays during the busiest shipping season of the year.
Shipping and Delivery
We primarily ship with UPS, Purolator, Fedex, or our local delivery courier. Please be sure to choose one of these options on checkout.
Please note that any labour disruptions with Canada Post will result in extra shipping volume and longer shipping times for couriers, and for this reason we recommend you order early. We are unable to ship to PO boxes during a Canada Post labour disruption.
Please keep an eye on your tracking number, and try to ensure someone will be home to accept the shipment. Although we haven't had any issues so far, we won't be responsible for stolen deliveries.
Shipping in Canada: Individual orders above $109 (before tax) to all provinces in Canada ship FREE! Please note this excludes remote locations where free shipping isn't feasible.
Bulk orders (e.g., over 10 boxes) are charged 50% of the real-time shipping rates.
Please double check the shipping address before placing an order to make sure your order arrives on time and on budget. Customers will be billed for any extra fees related to an incorrect shipping address, and nobody wants that!

Local delivery in Halifax and Dartmouth: Local orders in Halifax and Dartmouth (except the B3P postal code) over $109 get free delivery. Delivery for orders under $109 is between $10 and $14 depending on the area. See below for more information on our local delivery zone. Orders to the B3P area code are $24 for same day or next day delivery, or $12 for orders over $99. If you are sending an order to a B3P address and don't need same or next day delivery, please choose UPS, Purolator, or free shipping (if applicable) on checkout.
Shipping to the United States: Orders over $99 (before taxes) get $10 flat-rate shipping within the contiguous United States.

Local Delivery: available in Halifax & Dartmouth and some surrounding areas only (see below for postal codes included in the local delivery zone). Orders are usually delivered by a local courier (Haligone) and can be fulfilled more quickly. Please choose a delivery date on the cart page if your order is within our local delivery area.
If you're placing an order in our local delivery zone (i.e., in Halifax & Dartmouth), we will always call or text the recipient ahead of time if they live in a condo or apartment building to ensure they will be around for the delivery.
Please note recipients may receive a text with their tracking link on the day of the delivery so they know to expect a delivery.

We provide delivery free of charge on Mondays to Fridays (and occasionally Saturdays if available on the calendar on the cart page) for orders over $109 in the following areas: Halifax peninsula, Bedford, Lower & Middle Sackville, Clayton Park, Armdale, Beaver Bank, Hammonds Plains, Dartmouth, Eastern Passage, Cole Harbour, Fall River, Waverley, Porter's Lake, and Lawrencetown.

We love surprises, but we love to make sure your gift makes its way into the hands of the lucky recipient even more. We ask for the phone number of the gift recipient to ensure the gift can be delivered when they're home, mainly if they live in an apartment/condo building or on a busy street. We won't reveal any information about the contents or who it's from, so it'll still be a surprise.
Same day delivery is currently available Monday through Friday, except November 28 & 29. Orders must be placed by 11:00am ADT (10:00am EST). Same day delivery is available only in the local delivery zone (i.e., if "local delivery" shows up as a shipping option on checkout).
Orders are processed and shipped on business days (weekdays except holidays) within 1 business day of being placed. Please allow an extra business day of processing time for orders placed during peak holiday times (e.g., Christmas, Mother's Day).
Standard shipping times:
Shipping times vary based on location. Generally, orders within Nova Scotia (outside our local delivery area), New Brunswick, and PEI take 1-2 business days, and orders to cities in Ontario and Quebec take 2-3 business days. Orders to smaller towns and more remote areas, as well as western Canada and Newfoundland can take 5-10 business days.
Express shipping times:
Express shipping rates are available on checkout, and express shipping generally takes 1-2 business days to any location.
On the checkout screen you'll get an estimated shipping timeframe, and once your order is shipped you'll get a tracking number sent to you. If you're looking for an estimate before you place an order, reach out over chat or email hello@cheerfetti.ca.
At this time, we can only send gifts to one shipping address per order. If you'd like to order multiple gifts going to different addresses in the same order, please email hello@cheerfetti.ca and we'll be happy to put together your order for you.

From the cart page, click "checkout" to start the checkout process. Right next to where it says "Ship to", there's a little down arrow. If you click the arrow, you might see a list of addresses that you've used previously. At the bottom of that list, you'll see it says "use a different address". If you click on that, you'll be able to add a different shipping address.
If you need to change the shipping address after you've placed an order (and before it's shipped), please email hello@cheerfetti.ca ASAP with the correct address.

Absolutely, and we carry a wide selection of items so you can customize your gift box to you liking. Simply start off with the all-inclusive gift box and add your selections to the cart, and we'll take care of the rest.
If you're sending a gift directly to the recipient, we strongly suggest getting a gift box to make their gift experience extra special. If you're buying some goodies for yourself and don't mind getting them in a plain ol' shipping box, feel free to skip the gift box!

If you'd like to include only a short note (max. 125 characters / approx. 25 words), you can leave one on the gift tag. There's a space to write this note on each gift box page, whether you're building your own gift box or shopping from our selection of curated gift boxes.
